Sound Fitting The EFE 143/144 Pacer

To fit sound to the EFE 143/144, start by removing the screw which holds the cover for the socket and remove the blanking plug.

For the easiest install you can simply fit the decoder and use the built in speaker.

You can improve the sound by adding a second speaker, we used a 26x11x4 which was sanded on both sides to make it thin enough to fit in the same space as the decoder.

This was soldered to the same speaker connections as the built in speaker, which are next to the next18 socket. We also left the built in speaker in and connected.
