Fitting Sound To The Bachmann 205
I had a Bachmann 205 sent for sound fitting, I used Legomanbiffo sound and a 20x20x7 megabass speaker which fits neatly above the decoder.
Use a small screwdriver to take the 2 screws out from under the cab
Prise the body away from the chassis with a prising tool to release the clips
Use double sided tape or a sticky dot to hold the speaker above the decoder, don't use black tack on the decoder which heats up in use. See a video of the finished model below and a comparison to one fitted with an EM2 speaker.
