The two new PowerPacks PowerPack MiniXS and PowerPack MIDI are based on a new concept: A microcontroller monitors the rail voltage and adjusts the output voltage of the PowerPack fully automatically. In this way, light flickering when inserting the buffer memory is largely avoided. The PowerPack MiniXS is extremely flat at just 4.5mm and can therefore also be installed in smaller vehicles, while the PowerPack MIDI with 6F buffer capacitors can also reliably buffer power-hungry locomotives.
